Keep More of What You Make.

Every extra step costs money. I find the ones worth fixing.

You know your business. I bring The Second Look.

The Second Look is an Operational Process Audit that begins with a 90-minute Google Meet with you, your leaders, or both. We discuss the parts of the business where problems are showing up, how those processes work today, and what is not working the way it should. We focus on 3 or 4 problems worth addressing first. I then analyze our conversation, and within a week I provide you with a written report that clearly defines each problem and recommends a practical way to address it. For each one, I include the specific steps, links to any tools or services I recommend, what it should cost (if anything), and ready-to-use wording for an AI assistant when that would help. You can use the report yourself or hand it to whoever will do the work. We meet again by video for 30 minutes to go through the report and discuss how to make the recommended changes.

AI or automation may be part of the recommendation, but I explain exactly what that means for your business. You can start with no technical background. If you choose to make the change yourself, the report gives you a clear starting point and you learn only what you need to set it up and use it. If you hire me, I handle the setup and fit the fix into the programs and routines you already use. Most of the programs I recommend are free, and every recommendation must make the business easier to run with as little new complexity as possible.

  1. Discuss 3 or 4 problems
  2. I research the options
  3. Receive your written report
  4. Review it together
  5. Choose your next move

THE WRITTEN REPORT

A report you can put to work.

For each problem we focus on, the recommendation is written so someone can act on it. The report is designed to stand on its own, so you can implement the recommendations yourself or hand it to anyone you choose.

  • The problem. What we identified, where it shows up, and how it affects the business.
  • The recommended fixes. How the changes should work in your business, with the product or approach clearly named.
  • Where to find recommended solutions. Direct links to every program or resource I recommend.
  • What it will cost. Most recommended programs are free. Any paid option is named and priced.
  • A practical way to start. Steps and sample instructions you can paste into an AI assistant or hand to the person doing the work.
  • What to watch afterward. How to tell whether the change is working and saving what it should.
"The complete package. Mission-oriented, thoroughly organized, operationally astute, and a very effective leader. It is not very often you come across someone that is very technically sound, and that business savvy."

What the $399 includes.

The Second Look is a complete, stand-alone service. The $399 covers the 90-minute Google Meet, my work preparing the written report and recommendations for 3 or 4 of your most pressing problems, and a separate 30-minute video call to discuss the report and how to make the changes.

Most of the programs I recommend are free. If a paid program is worth considering, the report names it and shows its price. The report is yours to use however you choose.

Why $399? Many small-business AI readiness assessments start at about $1,500. I chose $399 to keep The Second Look within reach of the owner-run businesses it is built for. My standard is simple: the report should point to more value than it costs and give you a practical path forward.

Market check, July 2026: Published prices reviewed: Wellspring, $1,500; BlueShore, starting at $1,499; Automizers, $1,997; and Plainpath Clarity assessment, $8,000 to $15,000. Scope varies by provider.

The Second Look

$399flat, no surprises

  • A 90-minute video call with you, your leaders, or both
  • A written report covering 3 or 4 of your most pressing problems
  • A recommended action for each one
  • Recommendations often include automation or AI
  • Direct links and sample starting instructions
  • A separate 30-minute video call
  • Most recommended programs are free

Any work after the report is written up and priced separately. If you move forward, $200 of your $399 is credited toward it.

AFTER THE SECOND LOOK

The report is yours. What happens next is your choice.

The report gives you a practical path to make the changes yourself. You can also choose to have me implement specific recommendations or stay involved month by month.

  • Implement it yourself. Make the changes yourself or give the report to anyone you choose.
  • Have me make specific changes. I write up exactly what I will do and what it will cost as a separate job. Work begins after you approve it, and $200 of your $399 is credited toward that work.
  • Keep improving month by month. For a separately priced monthly retainer, I stay involved, keep looking beyond the first 3 or 4 problems, and help manage each approved change. The business improves gradually, with automation or AI used when it helps and each change building on the last.

For a business that works, but costs too much to run.

The Second Look is for an owner-run business where the same work happens again and again: calls, quotes, schedules, invoices, and follow-up. The business is not broken. It is simply spending more than it should to get the work done.

  • The same jobs repeat. When the same task happens over and over, fixing it can lower the cost every time it happens.
  • Too much payroll goes to repeated office work. Typing the same information again, correcting mistakes, chasing approvals, and answering the same questions.
  • Every new customer creates more office work. You need the business to handle more without payroll growing just as fast.

Questions owners ask before they spend $399.

What exactly does the $399 include?

A 90-minute Google Meet with you, your leaders, or both; a written report covering 3 or 4 of your most pressing problems with recommended actions, direct links, and practical starting instructions for each one; and a separate 30-minute video call to discuss the report and how to make the changes.

Do I need to prepare anything or give you access to my software?

No. A sample invoice, quote, or schedule can help, but there are no forms, no homework, and no passwords required. I do not install, connect, or sign into anything during The Second Look.

Do I have to learn AI or another complicated program?

You can begin The Second Look with no AI experience. The report explains every recommendation in plain English. If you implement a change yourself, the report gives you a clear starting point and you learn what you need to set it up and use it. If you hire me, I handle the setup and fit it into the programs and routines you already use.

Is this about replacing employees with AI?

No. The first place I look is repetitive work people should not have to keep doing by hand. AI may handle reminders, copying information, or other routine steps. Your people keep the judgment, relationships, and work that needs a person.

Do the recommended programs cost extra, and do you make money recommending them?

Most programs I recommend are free. If a paid program is worth considering, the report names it and shows its price. I do not get paid to recommend one program over another.

Can I implement the recommendations myself?

Yes. The report includes direct links, practical steps, and sample instructions you can give to an AI assistant or another person. Make the changes yourself or give the report to anyone you choose.

What does it cost to have you make the recommended changes?

That work is a separate job. I write up what I will do and what it will cost before any work starts. If you decide to move forward, $200 of your $399 is credited toward that separate job.

Can you keep helping after the first changes?

Yes. For a separately priced monthly retainer, I stay involved, keep looking beyond the first 3 or 4 problems, and help manage each approved improvement. The business improves gradually, with automation or AI used when it helps and each change building on the last.
